According to E! Online, Paula Abdul won't be returning for season 9 of American Idol. Abdul revealed in twitter message that "with sadness in my heart, I've decided not to return to #IDOL. I'll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all...being a part of a show that I helped from day1become an international phenomenon". Apparently, Fox Network decided not to show Abdul more money! What's interesting was that rumors have been circurlating for months now that Fox was planning to dump Abdul, when Kara DioGuardi was introduced as a judge in season 8.
