Jay-Z Ain’t Paying The Bills!


According to E! Online, Jay-Z is getting sued by Mickael Cohen, who’s the owner of the luxury travel company Air Platinum Club. The lawsuit alleged that Jay-Z failed to pay for services; the lawsuit was filed against Jay-Z in the Court of Miami on 6/21/10. Cohen claims that Jay-Z logged an estimated 55 hours on Air Platinum Holding’s jet in 2009, but he only paid for 37 hours of first-class service. Reportedly, Jay-Z accrued an extra 18 hours at $4,500 an hour, which equal to $81,000. Jay-Z also owes “$8,500 for catering 17 domestic flights, $3,000 for catering 4 international flights, taxes and fees totaling $20,785, and a luxury trip to the UK for $24,000”. In addition, Cohen is seeking $100,000 in damages on behalf of Air Platinum.
