According to TMZ, Whitney Houston’s autopsy is complete. Houston’s autopsy revealed that she had water in her lungs, when she died; medical examiner it’s unknown how much was water was in her lungs. Reportedly, “authorities cannot yet determine whether Houston died before she was submerged in the water or after….There is still a possibility Houston was dead before she went under the water”. It’s speculated that Houston “may have fallen asleep or lapsed into unconsciousness in the bathtub and drowned”. Allegedly, Houston “had been drinking the night before and authorities believe a combination of Xanax and alcohol could have fatally sedated her” . At this time, Houston’s cause of death can’t be verified pending a toxicology report, which usually takes 4 to 6 weeks. However, a coroner's spokesman disclosed that “ the results are on a security hold”.
