Busta In Trouble With the Law Again

On Thursday, Busta Rhymes was arraigned on two misdemeanor counts of assault in the third degree, attempted assault in the third degree, and harassment in the second degree. These charges are linked to an alleged post-Christmas beat-down over money. According to the police report, Busta repeatedly punched and kicked a 39-year-old victim around 3 p.m. Dec. 26 outside a building in lower Manhattan. The victim was identified as Edward Hatchett; an order of protection was issued during the court hearing. Rhymes' attorney insisted that "Busta adamantly denies the allegations contained in the complaint and he looks forward to his day in court."
