Mariah Carey has won her battle against porn queen Mary Carey, who’s real name is Mary Ellen Cook. In 2006, Mariah filed court papers to prevent Mary Carey from licensing/trademarking her porn name because she felt people would confuse her with the porn star. Mary Ellen Cook started using the name Mary Carey in 2002; she also run for Governor of California in 2002, but lost to Arnold Schwarzenegger. A judge has prohibited the porn star from using the name for DVDs, websites and movies.
