According to TMZ, Island/Def Jam Chairman L.A. Reid allegedly isn’t too happy with Jay-Z. Insiders suggest that the bad blood stems from Jay-Z not spending enough time in the office, since he un-retired from his music career. Apparently, this makes Reid “feel like the second-in-command”. Then, there is the issue of “Jay-Z won't re-up with the label as an exec unless he gets a hefty pay raise”.
