According to IMDB.com, Nicole Richie’s lawyer (Shawn Chapman) entered a not guilty plea on her behalf on 2/20/07 in relation to a misdemeanor drunk-driving charge. Due to Richie prior DUI conviction in 2003, under California law she faces a mandatory jail time of 90 days as well as up to one year in prison, if she is convicted on current charge. Richie’s pretrial is set for 4/2/07.
