According to IMDB.com, Jessica Simpson and John Mayer are no longer a couple. Apparently, Simpson confirmed reports that “her romance with rocker John Mayer is over”. Rumors began to circulate that the couple had split, “after Simpson attended the Cannes Film Festival solo earlier this week”. “The split news comes just days after Simpson's manager father Joe announced he approved of his daughter's new beau, stating, "I love him; he's got great music... and he's a legend already”.
